Love in the Time of Corona

Fall break of the day,

a tall, kind policeman stands,

morphing into lamp-post –

parallel stands the wall.

Tall, cold, old wall

with candle stains

that ceased to burn.

Not near nor far

two parallel lives,

two flames of fire tremble

in gentle wind in the

time of Corona.
